Pure Raw Lime or Linden Honey harvested in Summer 2023. Unpasteurized, unheated honey direct from the beekeeper.

Linden honey – it is one of the most valuable and best varieties of honey. Bees collect it from the nectar of greenish yellow flowers of the queen of  honey plants, as the people rightly called linden.

Antibacterial properties of honey lime are also used in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases: it helps relieve inflammation and improve the condition of the liver, kidney and gallbladder. By the way, this product attaches to a mild laxative effect.

Linden honey is especially recommended for people with diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems: it relieves stress and tension, struggling with sleepless nights, improves metabolism.

Lime-tree honey is produced by honeybees, from the nectar of lime-tree flowers, Tilia. The lime-tree has small, yellow flowers, gathered into a bunch. Lime-tree honey is considered one of the best honey varieties. It is very rich in vitamins (especially 81, also known as thiamin), amino acids, pollen and resin. It has antiseptic properties and thus it is used to cure colds, flu, cough and bronchitis. Lime-tree honey dissolves the mucus and clears the throat. It is highly recommended to people suffering from stress and insomnia. A bit of lime-tree honey is better than any sleeping pill. Lime-tree honey also has anti-germs and anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, it is used to treat cramps and renal health problems.

    Wonderful honey, I keep giving people some to taste and end up having to order more! It keeps well and has a great flavour as well as beneficial properties for health. Great mixed with yoghurt and fruit (I add some sprouted flax seed too)! It is extremely versatile – I also add to stewed fruits, such as plums and rhubarb.
