Overwintered Buckfast Nucs

A Buckfast Nucleus Colony (nuc) is the perfect way to establish or expand your apiary. Headed by a 2025-marked Buckfast queen, this nuc is designed to help your hive thrive with productive, healthy bees.   What’s Included:  

• Bees: 5 frames fully covered with strong, active bees.
• Brood: At least 3 frames with brood in all stages (eggs, larvae, and capped brood).
• Stores: At least 1 frame of food stores, typically with additional reserves.
• Queen: 2025-marked Buckfast queen, laying consistently to build a strong colony.
• Calm and Disease-Free: Low varroa mite levels, no signs of aggression, and no disease present.
• Corex Box: Supplied in a durable, non-returnable corex box, perfect for transport or as a spare.

  Important Information:  

• Colonies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at reservation, with the balance (£210) due prior to collection.
• Full refunds will be issued if we cannot fulfil your order.
• Frames are British Standard National size, fitting both National and WBC hives.
• Ready for collection after 15th May (depending on the weather)
